venue : service air compressor B
problem : auto drain valve pipeline joint leaking

other than that, i also follow the technician to check and testing transmitter level at IP drum.

~ 13 April 2010 ~

check the diverter damper hydraulic panel 1A... the damper is use to control the exaust either to go to the bypass stack or HRSG....

test opening damper : 0% - open bypass
                                 100% - close bypass

problem = pressure low, therefor the damper cannot open for exaust to enter HRSG.

~ 12 April 2010 ~

2nd week of my internship... follow the technician to install CPFM sensor at combustor GT 1A...
also followed them to change OPS monitor at PD2...

~ 5th day ( 9 april ) ~

follow the technician to do the loop test of the pipe line... the pipe that the oil flow...

~ 4th day ( 8 april ) ~

follow the technician to valve room under the gas turbine... the gas turbine is under overhall, therefor there is so much dusk in the valve room.... we have to wear musk... the valve is contain of oil... the valve is control the percentage of oil that flow...

walkdown to Tuanku Ja'afar Power Station (TJPS)... PD1, turbine system, control room, intake channel, outfall, demineralize water pump n etc... guieded by Mr Nik Yang...

~ 1st day ( 5 april ) ~

wake up early in the morning... with so many feeling.... blend together... scared, worried, excited, weird...

1st day = induction day.... briefing bout Tuanku Ja'afar Power Station management, organizational structure, turbine system, safety and environment.... briefing by Haji Amir n Mr Jasni...
